Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Md., is a private, nonprofit 193-bed hospital governed by a community board of directors in partnership with the LifeBridge Health board of directors. With over 400 physicians on the medical staff representing over 38 medical specialties, each year the hospital experiences over 430,000 patient encounters, including inpatient and outpatient medical care and community programs. Carroll Hospital is the second largest employer in the county, with nearly 2,200 employees.
